WBCOOP main event
Today is one of the biggest tournies i have ever played it. The blinds 15 min rounds instead of 10 or less, which means a lot slower pace. Gotta keep my focus up and my game strong.

Event 3 = no focus
I made it late into this tourny was 90 of 210. Picked up J10 hearts in the small blind and raised four times the big blind. Big blind called flop came j 10 2 and was all in with an insta call against 22. I am not saying i would have gotten away from that hand but i chose wrong spots to be short stacked to get knocked out there. Maybe the 8-game will go better.

end of event 2
Ah sad day, i decided to get mixed up and didnt notice the full house. In a cash game i was pot committed but i think i could have gotten away without gettin knocked out, but that was a good learning experience.
event 2 break 1
At the first break this event has gone way better. A couple times i decided to gamble which i did not have to do but i picked up some big pots in good situations. Break one 6,840 chips 145 of 876 and i feel like this is a great opportunity to observe how others play this omaha tourny!! Here i go!!!
WBCOOP Event 2
well errr this is the omaha event. I am definitely not in tuned for the style of PLO in MTT form. I am a decent omaha player, but my only omaha experience is from cash games. There is a lot more gambling in a cash game. Game plan is to stay tight and see flops with double suited and pairs try to spark a big hand earn a stack. Once the blinds catch up pick spots to try and steal blinds and do it with drawing hands with suited connectors and other hands that if a flop does occur i am not dead in the water. Here we go event 2, treat me better than event 1!!!

HOLY HELL
So 30 min into event 1 i pick up KK under the gun so i get fancy and limp. It folds around to the button who makes a big raise. I re-raise to for half my stack and he goes all in, and i call. He turns over QQ same suits as me and hits a Q on the river to end my event one way premature. This sucks ass!!!
Event 1
I could not be happier with my table draw for event 1 of the WBCOOP. According to OPR there is plenty of experience at my table, but no over the top strong players. Hopefully i can take advantage of this early!!!

I dunno
After a terrible day yesterday i had good news that i received my WBCOOP ticket so i registered for the 4 prelim tournies. I am really excited for these cause right now event 1 shows 733 entries and if it stays under 1000 there is a good chance to cash. 153 places cause and 153rd place is $11. I have been planning out my strategy and i am excited to say i have a lot of confidence going into this. I plan to update every other break so stand bye and here we go!!!

Day 2
day 2 did not start well but thanks with the helps of some fish i kept my head above water. Took bad beats in 2 freerolls and 2 quarter tournies. So i decided to sit cash. That didn't help either when i lost a dollar to a bad beat on the pot limit Omaha table. I figured it was due since i was crushing it. Played $0.80 heads up on absolute and crushed him then came around and had a $1.50 NL hold em session. Good end to a scary day. Still have a freeroll to go.
Later in the night i had a little tilt/badbeat session losing $3, which was a huge hit to my small bankroll. I took a deep breathe took a shot at .02/.05 stakes and made $4.50 making a $1.50 profit for the night.

First session
My first session could not have gone any better. On my 4th hand i hand Q5 suited in the small blind. The button raised and i flopped a 5. Turn came a 5 and a river Q gave me a full house. He then bet i raised he went all in. I called with my Full house and he turns over AA. I got lucky against AA fourth hand and won $1.50. Upon further playing i went onto fulltilt to check out any high stakes action to watch, instead i stumbled on rush poker which might be the GREATEST idea ever. I registered in two freerolls on full tilt to try and get a roll on there. My first freeroll i was a victim of a bad beat when my AJ lost to an A4 all in preflop.

The Idea
I have played online poker off and on for about four years now and randomly i sparked an idea. The American dream is always to turn something of little value and find out it will make you wealthy. Everyone has hobbies like; collecting coins, antique hunting, even fishing and hunting. When i have me time i enjoy competition and gambling. I know these two are not great hobbies but i do enjoy them. The idea from Ramen to Riches is simple. With online poker i play micro stakes which is like playing with pocket change. The idea of living off my poker would be like eating top ramen every meal. I want to see if i can go from eating ramen every meal to being able to live off a hobby.
Like i said though i have been playing for four years and not had great success, upon further research i found full tilt pro Chris Furgeson did the same thing by following rules.
1) on a ring table if at any time your stack is the equivelant of 10% of your bankroll you exit that table to reduce the risk of losing it. Go to a new table so that a bad beat does not hurt as much
2) on tournies and sit n goes do not increase stakes until you have 40 buy ins of the next amount. For example a $2 dollar tourny would need a bankroll of $80.
3) this is the important one: NEVER REBUY with all the freerolls out there if you truely are dedicated the freerolls are enough.
This blog is also a way to reflect on my day of poker. I play on three different sites and will update after i play.
